Hello and welcome to the Solihull & Warwickshire Domino League website, formerly known as the Henley & District Domino league, our new name better reflects the locations of our playing members. This website provides access to the latest news, fixtures, league members and honours board that goes back to our incorporation in the 1970’s.

Finals Night - April
Finals Night actually takes place across three Thursday’s in April, namely the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursday in the month. Each player MUST make themselves available for all dates, this is in the event that they get through the early rounds of the doubles and/or singles on the first and second weeks.
Each team captain is encouraged to get as many players as possible to play, after all the event is free! It is included in your season subscription fee.

When do we play?
The league is a winter league with league matches starting the last Thursday in September and continuing through until March with a short break for Christmas and New Year.
We also have two cup competitions and two plate competitions for this teams that lose their match in the cups.
Our main playing night is Thursday. All the teams are encouraged to play on that evening but in the event of bad weather or player illness postponements are inevitable therefore we will utilise other weekday evenings to catch up on any lost fixtures.
Play will start between 7.30pm and 8pm, the actual time is decided between the two captains. With some licensed premises closing their bar at 10pm it is important that the start time is not too late, we don’t want to run the risk of a late night finish.
